Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter Nana Ama Safowaah is back again and is set to amaze her fans once again with her beautiful songs and powerful ministry.

Nana Ama Safowaah has always been an active vocalist in church where she exhibits her God given gift.

She is a minister of God and Noted for her heterogeneous and diversified musical influence in the Ghanaian Gospel Industry. She is the first ever Ghanaian gospel musician to release an exotic blend of music in Spanish her second Album “TANTO”. The only Ghanaian Spanish gospel singer.

Speaking about her ministry, she stated that, Even though she has a prophetic ministry, she believes she also has a responsibility in her music path (music ministry) . To her, both ministries are intertwined and connected to each other. They work hand in hand and one doesn’t leave the other.

Her new project “Todo poderoso” is another powerful album which she displays her uniqueness and versatility once again.

She released her first album in 2007 titled WASEDA, released  her second album in 2012 titled “TANTO”. Under the “TANTO” album, “WAGYEME “ was the Nitche of the album which drew her to the limelight. She released her first single “EDIN NO” in 2018 and which later came with another song “NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME”.

According to her, her enthusiasm and reference to God is depicted in her choice of words in her songs.

Nana Ama Safowaah doesn’t restrict herself as far as worshiping God  is concerned. She flows from Urban /Contemporary gospel to Rock, Traditional native Ghanaian Gospel with the inspiration of God.

Nana Ama Safowaah began her prophetic ministry in 1992 even before her appearance in the Music Industry. However, her prophetic ministry THE BRIDES COURT was formally established in September 2017. This ministry focuses on Intercession, Prayers and Counselling.

The hardworking Nana Ama Safowaah is fluent in 5 languages. Spanish, French, English, Twi and Fante. Her versatility and style in the Ghanaian Gospel industry is one that makes her unique and outstanding.

Nana Ama is a Prophetess, minister of God and a Counsellor by profession. (marriage and Family counselling). She has her own prophetic ministry where intensive prayers and intercession is prioritized called the Brides Court Ministry.

In 2021, she released her third Album dubbed “TODO PODEROSO” which was ushered by a single imbibed in that particular album “CHANGE ME”. Due to diversity, she’s known as MAMA TANTO in showbiz but noted as Safowaah in the Ministry.

Nana Ama Safowaah is a woman of God and a worshipper by calling. Born in Kumasi on the 7^th August, 1964 and to Mary Oteng (Eno Mary) and Daniel Kwarteng. She is the eldest of 9 children. She started her education in Takoradi: Collins Avenue, where she completed her primary and JHS education. She then continued in Prempeh Girls during the Rwalings Regime which later collapsed during the Era. Later, attained a degree in bachelor of Arts in Family Counselling in Central University. She is a Widow and a mother of 3 children.

Her aim for this new album and most bbn of her projects is to draw people to God through her ministry. (both singing and prophetic ministry)
