Veteran highlife muscian Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has stated that the erratic power supply in the country will not end soon as expected.
In an interview with Odiifour host of Atinka FM Showbiz in Accra, he said the Energy crises in country will not end anytime soon because it has been a decade since the country was plunged into darkness.
The minister promised at a press conference on February 2, 2015 that the almost four year old power crisis will be over by the end of December 2015
Everybody is complaining about dumsor so why not do something about it to make people happy for the Christmas? I am doing something on the lighter side that we will celebrate Christmas with dumsor. Whether you are a politician or not, the situation affects you. I don’t support party A or B; I’m not doing politics,” the forty-seven-year-old added.
Kaakyire Kwame Appiah,who is known in the country for his christmas hit songs have released another Xmas related song titled “Dumsor Bronya” and has explain that the song has no political agenda but only trying to do something creative as a musician with the power crisis issue that have hit the nation.
The musician who doubles as an actor, director and a producer for Kaakyire Films production further revealed that he has made preparation for his annual 24th December concert that comes off at the Abrentie Spot inside Lapaz in Accra and this year’s show will be no different from his previous successful events.
