Gospel artiste Gifty Osei in an interview with Delay on the Delay show has disclosed that she is an automatic candidate for heaven if the world should come to an end or she dies.

“I will sure go to the heaven if I die anytime. You know, the thing with people is that we easily judge the book by its cover and most of the times; we end up missing the content.

“I may appear in a certain manner but when I get hold of the microphone and start ministering, it is a different ball game and that is what people should know,” she said.

She added; “honestly my name is the first on the list when it comes to those who will make it to heaven.”

“Don’t worry when I get there, I will keep one of the crowns for you,” she jokingly told the host.

Gifty Osei has become one of the household names in Ghana’s music industry. Her energy, zeal and high sense of fashion on stage are some of the elements her fans look out for whenever she hits the stage. In 2007, her debut album, Aseda, became an instant hit in Ghana.

Coming from a humble background, Gifty had her basic education at the Mantey Din and New Oninku JSS, all in Tema, before learning fashion design. She is married to Tema-based Pastor Prince.
