Miss Ghana Nadia Ntanu has been a calm figure during her time as queen even though she has since been working on many projects but has managed to stay off the cameras in so doing. Her personality compared to many other queens is very unique.
As part of her packages for winning the Miss Ghana 2013 pageant, she went to Miss world and upon projecting the Ghanaian culture to the world stage, it earned her a position in the top 20 but failed to progress after that. She is as well the current face of IPMC, which only use a queen they feel meets the vision of their brand. The pageant has also handed lots of modelling deals to the current queen in the process, etc.
There have been several concerns raised recently concerning the many beauty pageants in the country and its relevance as well as the impact they have on our young ladies. Speaking in an exclusive interview with ghkwaku.com, the current queen expressed her delight at the same time miscomfort concerning the issue. She said:
Well, in my opinion, its not a bad thing, its good if they are doing it for the right reasons,to benefit the society and also groom young ladies such as myself to be leaders which Miss Ghana and miss world is about. If not then i think its a waste of time.
