Miss Ghana Foundation over the weekend organized a pre-Christmas party for underprivileged children at the Bawjiase Children’s Home in the Central Region.

The gesture was part of pageant giant’s commitment to giving back to society and helping the needy in society. Children at the home were treated to good food and drinks as well as other Christmas gifts.

The Miss Ghana foundation is a registered charity arm of the Miss Ghana Beauty pageant.

Over the years, past Miss Ghana queens have taken up different social projects that help transform and positively impact lives of the most vulnerable or less privileged in society under the foundation.

At Saturday Miss Ghana 2015, Antoinette Delali Kemavor and two runners up; Afua Asieduwaa Akrofi and Rebecca Asamoah were at the home to party with the children while they also encouraged them to take their classes serious.

The queens also donated items worth hundreds of Ghana cedis. It included; bags of rice, Special Ice Water, Frytol and other items to the home.

The party was supported by Magnum Force Security, Palace Stores, Frytol, Special Ice Water, Papaye, Champion Foods, Coca Cola, Adinkra and Abrempong Holidays.
Palace Stores gave the queen Christmas gifts for each of 80 children who were present at the home. Other sponsors also provided great support.

Miss Ghana pageant powered by Exclusive Events remains Ghana’s premier pageant. It is the biggest and oldest national beauty pageant of Ghana. The contest was established in 1957, the year of Ghana’s independence, with Monica Amekoafia becoming the first-ever Miss Ghana. The current queen is Antoinette Delali Kemavor.
