Popular Ghanaian actor, model, film producer and director, and philanthropist, Prince David Osei, has recommended that upcoming actors/actresses begin their career with stage acting.

He explained to Foster Romanus on the Late Nite Celebrity Show that stage acting builds one’s self-confidence so if upcoming actors or actresses really want to better their acting skills, go through the rudiments and proper training of acting, it would be better to start with stage act.

‘’Stage act breaks that wall between you and your self-confidence because you’re right there in front of the people. It’s just a small distance between you and the audience and you are communicating with them there and then’’, he shared.

The movie star went on to comment that the beauty of stage act is that it is a direct communication to the audience and there is no such thing as ‘cut’ or ‘I forgot my lines’ hence it builds the actor well.
