Reggie’N’Bollie’s New Single Is Premiered On BBC Radio 1Xtra
Uncategorized March 8, 2017, Comments OffSensational UK-based Ghanaian Duo ReggieNBollie have taken 2017 by a storm!
In February they announced their split from Syco Music with a bigger
announcement right after by alerting their massive fans of their newly
established Independent Record Label named F.R.O.D Music Ltd.
We have been teased many times by our National super stars of their new
projects, but little did we know we would be graced with new music on the day
of Ghana’s @ 60 Independent Celebrations.
The new song titled ‘This Is The Life’ was premiered yesterday on the Charlie
Sloth’s BBC Radio 1 EXTRA Drive Time show on which the song was played 2x in
an almost 10 minutes long feature which had many fans and followers of the
show excited about Reggie N Bollie’s original sound. Some of the show’s listeners
even guessed the song was from Major Lazer.
“We were not planning to release the song today. It came quite as a surprise to us
all” – mentioned Reggie. He continued – “the song was actually presented to the
station for their consideration by our PR Team but the producers at BBC Radio
1Xtra decided to give it the best push as they believed it is a great song so they
exclusively played it a few hours later”. Bollie added – “We were buzzed as we
thought, what a better way to Celebrate our Country Ghana’s 60 th Independence
than to release our own first single as independent artistes?! It’s a perfect
coincidence”.
‘This Is The Life’ is a motivational song they have presented in a cooler and
urban way to tell their fans not to give up in life but rise up and face challenges
with bravery. This is the life they live is their motto as they urge their fans to
keep grinding and change up their status in life.
With the rhythmic fusion of Dancehall and Pop which throws you strait into the
well-known Reggie N Bollie party vibe, this song has irresistible beats that will
make it a club banger and a chart topper. The song will be available worldwide
for downloads and streaming from Tuesday 7 th March 2017.
The song was written by Reggie N Bollie, produced by David Ezra at Hilltop
Studios and mastered by Stuart Hawkes at Metropolis Studios London.
