Ghanaian Dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. popularly known as Shatta Wale believes that Sarkodie is a better rapper than M.anifest.
Speaking on the award winning show, Starr Chat on Starr 102.5 FM with Bola Ray, Wale claimed Sarkodie is his artist and he writes lyrics for him as well.
“Well you know it’s not something difficult for me since everybody knows I love Sarkodie. They are all good rappers but I would go for Sarkodie… I love Sarkodie and everyone knows.”
When asked about his relationship with Kwaw Kese, he disclosed that they are good friends and are planning to release a new song soon.
“Kwaw Kese and I are good friends. We attended same school (Winnesec) and we’ve planned to do some collabos but I haven’t had much time to do it.”
He is best known for his biggest breakthrough hit song Dancehall King which led to him winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
Shatta Wale attended Winneba Secondary School and during that time he was popularly known as ‘Ayoz‘.
He changed his name to “Bandana” after senior high school and released the hit track “Bandana from Ghana”. The song made tremendous air waves in the Ghanaian music industry in 2004.
