If you watched last night’s episode of “Empire” then you know there was a huge bombshell dropped by the writers.

If you didn’t watch the episode and don’t want any spoilers, you might want to stop reading.

On episode 17 of “Empire titled “Rise by Sin”, fan favourite Jamal Lyon was shot by Freda Gathers.

What happened was Freda found out what Lucious did to her father all thanks to a drunk Carol (Cookie’s sister). Freda attempted to shoot Lucious at the ASAs after she discovered he killed her father, Frank Gathers, but Jamal took the bullet for him.

Fans of “Empire” have been going nuts asking if Jamal is dead and he took to Twitter to clear up the air.
