Expect More Exciting Programmes During Christmas’ – General Manager
Uncategorized November 1, 2018, Comments OffMr. William Asare, General Manager of Metro TV, has said, viewers and business partners should expect a lot from them this festive season, as they seek to delight them.
According to Mr. Asare, the new management was ready and poised to do business with its ‘Delighting the Customer’ approach, adding that, they would be introducing a new cookery program, an intimate celebrity talk shows, repackage of the news programs, Sports Direct, Sports File and a Sales Event to usher in the Christmas festivities.
He said, there would also be a Bike Racing challenge and a Media Soiree to round up the year adding that, the sports sector has also been repackaged to meet the demands of their viewers and business partners.
Mr. Asare said, with the presence of experienced sports journalists and presenters like Michael Katahena together with Michael Kofi Oduro as lead hosts for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which was complemented by Kumawood’s Kwaku Manu, as roaming location Twi Anchor and Jaqueline Aqyuaye and Riyah Abdul as Social Media comperes, Metro TV re-emphasized its authority as the leader in sports and home of football.
He said, the refreshing changes and upgrades, had made Metro TV, consistent in its attempt to produce splendid pieces with special attention to Look and Feel, Set, Creatives, Presenters and adding that presenters’ costume were carefully selected to meet the demands of a modern-day sophisticated television audience.
According to Mr. Asare, the station as at January 2018, could be accessed in some few parts of Ghana, with weak signal strength coupled with foot print coverage of only parts of Accra, but noted that transmission has been restored in seven regions; Accra, Kumasi, Sunyani, Tamale, Bolgatanga, Takoradi and Cape Coast.
He said the new management would continue to work hard to restore transmission all over the country soon adding that, the station was back on GBC’s digital platform (T1) and remains on DSTV channel 277 and GoTV, which makes the station increasingly accessible across the continent.
