Kwame Partan Cuts Dreadlocks To Rebrand For New Froject

Kwame Partan in a recent interview with award-winning Ghanaian Blogger, Elorm Beenie, has refused to explain his reasons for cutting his dreadlocks but insists “it was needed at this point of his career. At every point in life one needs to make changes and once you make that spiritual decision, you have to walk along that path.”
With 2 albums under his belt, Kwame Partan is highly revered within the Reggae sect as one of the best Songwriters and finest live band performers anytime he climbs the stage.
He hints of a new video due for release this week on TV and for his Official Youtube Channel.
Brief Music Journey
Kwame Partan launched himself unto the music scene professionally in 1999. He started out as a Hiplife artiste rocking various and doing collaborations with the ilks of Becca among others.
He released his debut album “Busa Me”, a Hiplife catalogue in 2003 under Astra Records. Not too long ago after releaseing that debut album, Kwame Partan had the calling to switch to Reggae music and his style of genre changed.
Kwame Partan, born under real name “Aaron Ayeh”, has played major concerts in Ghana; notable among them are “Sizzla Live in Ghana” Concert in 2007, “Anthony B & Jah Mason Live in Ghana” Concert in 2012, just to name a few. He has graced other respectable stages in Ghana by fellow artistes. He has also climbed some stages in Germany.
His 11-tracked album titled “Me Busa” was officially released on Friday, August 5, 2016 in Accra, Ghana as his sophomore album. This second album was released under his own Management, Loud People Production. It came with an album launch concert in Accra and featured well respected Ghanaian Reggae Artistes like Iwan, Ras Kuuku, Osagyefo, Konkarah, just to name a few. About 95% of the songs on the “Me Busa” album was Reggae; it had majority of the productions by Crownzy Beatz.
Kwame Partan is known as a conscious revolutionist through the power of music and well-decorated lyrics, deep enough that relates well with real life experiences. He is best known for his hit singles “Papa Koti” and “Onipa” – both songs listed on his “Me Busa” album.
His song “Ghanaian Passport” on the Irie Bus Riddim album by Irie Ites Studios, produced by CaskeysOnit is one of the songs he is known for; a powerful song that critiques the hurdles Ghanaians face in acquiring their passports.
