Medikal, Efya, Kojo Cue, DKB Others React To KNUST Protest
Uncategorized October 23, 2018, Comments OffThe university has been reluctant in granting the students permits to organise the “moral” programme since the hall was converted into a mixed facility.
Over the years, the Katanga boys had clashed with their rivals, Unity Hall, during such programmes, which normally travel deep into the night.
Following the incident, there has been uneasy calm on campus as both the university’s internal security and KNUST Police have increased their presence on campus.
That, however, has not disrupted the school’s activities as students were seen going about their normal studies.
What is going on at #KNUST ..?? Why are students being brutalized..?? What’s going on In this country..! EVERYTHING IS CHANGING!! 🤯😔

I understand there’s a cause to fight for in KNUST … but attaching violence and vandalism to the cause makes it hard for anybody to be on your side 100% … Also, when you destroy school property, who do you think pays for it?

I categorically condemn the student brutalization in KNUST, we can't burn midnight candles in high school to be treated like this as adults in University!
Only shows the cantankerous mindset of our leaders and superiors! Very shameful! 😡🔥🔥#KNUSTBrutality#SupportYourOwn
