Andrea Owusu, known in public life as Efia Odo, has disclosed that her mother is aware of her character, which is deemed inappropriate by many Ghanaians.

In an interview with Abeiku Santana, on his ‘Atuu’ programme, the actress stressed that her mother, and father know and accept her for who she is.

“It’s not a matter of whether they like my behavior or not, I am their daughter and they know my character,” she said.

Efia Odo has a reputation of posing almost nude for pictures, revealed parts of her body which everyone expects to be covered.

According to the talented actress, her mother supports her behaviour and wants her to enjoy the time of her life.

“She supports me in everything I do. Even when I was coming for the interview, I had a face time with her and she said I should enjoy,” she said.

She added that she grew up with her mother, and her family naturally loves to entertain people.

“I did not grow up with my father, I grew up with my mom… my family is just a happy one, and we love to entertain people,” she concluded.
