SEE PHOTOS: Samini Launches Peace Campaign
Uncategorized November 6, 2016, Comments OffReggae and Dancehall recording artiste Samini has launched a campaign to preach against violence before, during and after the 2016 general election slated for December 7.
The “Linda” hitmaker on Tuesday, November 1 in Accra inaugurating the crusade to propagate peace detailed the need to fight against violence during the 2016 polls.
At the press conference, which had Zionfelix.net in attendance, Samini named many African countries like Rwanda, Congo, Libya, Syria, and Liberia, which have suffered as a result of war.

He added that Ghana has been “plagued by coupes, instability, indifference but we have made significant progress as a nation rallying around our national flag, our anthem and the blood of our forefathers who fought to protect this peace we cherish today partly captured in our national anthem.
“Today, the greatest threat to our peace lies in our partisan differences, growing level of intolerance, a strange spirit of divisiveness seeking to destroy our very peaceful moral fabric, politics, governance and homes”. Samini cotinued.
The boss of Highgrade Family further asked Ghanaians to spread the message of peace.
“Sweetie Pie” singer Kofi Kinaata who was also at the launch also pleaded with the youth to show politicians that they are valuable than the pennies they pay to buy their conscience with.
Samini at the event launched his peace campaign song “Mama Ghana” which features his label mate Kofi Kinaata.
