Uncategorized October 1, 2018, Comments OffGhanaian fine-boy actor, Fiifi Coleman has revealed that he earns more money in theatre production than he does in movies.
In the early 2000’s, theatre production and movies were booming and it gave performers and actors the revenue they needed to sustain the industry. One popular theatre art is the renowned Key Soap Concert party which dies off due to low patronage and inadequate funds.
Actor Fiifi Coleman is among the list of theatre producers who are making money from theatre productions. We can make mention of one theatre production house, Roverman Productions, which has kept the theatre busy over the time.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Fiifi Coleman revealed that even though the theatre field is now picking up it form after a long while, it has been able to transform into a revenue generating avenue for the arts.
“When I am on stage and I have the first three rows or the first five rows ccrying, laughing and angry with me and at the character, it is just like this is what I live for, this is life for me. That is what it is, movie doesn’t pay. Stage is now growing very fast in Ghana as well, so I am bold enough to say stage is paying now for me than even in movies”, ghkasa.com captured
