Players of the senior national football team have visited the Nkrumah Circle GOIL Filling Station scene of last week’s inferno that claimed over a hundred and fifty lives. Accompanied by officials of the GhanaFootball Association, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the contingent also included the entire backroom staff of the team, and some football administrators.

The gesture took place on the back of a donation they made to the Sports Ministry this week to aid relief efforts.“The national team is for the whole country, and this is a national disaster so yes we will donate towards relief efforts,” said GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi,
