The Leadership of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) has given out some apparatus to the management at its Head office in Accra to boost up efficiency day to day activities.
The items include eight computers, printers and its accessories, vehicle, and six motor cycles,.
The Administrator of GHAMRO Mr. R. Abraham, who briefed the media today Friday 27 November 2015 said since its induction in March this year, it had been able to open offices in 8 regions to decentralize its operations.
Mr. Abraham revealed that the donation will be extending to all the remaining 7 regions that their outfits has open satellite offices.
Adding that, the equipment s are to facilitate the work of the regional offices in Kumasi, Koforidua, Tamale, Sunyani, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Bolgatanga, and Ho.
He further disclosed that, with good administration, they had been able to disburse royalties to more than 3,800 members, adding that it had also set up a welfare fund for the members where four disbursements had been made.
