Mzbel is celebrating a decade of doing music

As part of activities planned for the special milestone, a concert dubbed “Mzbel Red Concert”, has been launched.

It will take place on February 7, 2015, at the National Theatre. The concert, which will be headlined by the ’16 years ‘hit maker, will feature top notch musical artistes in the country.

“There have been good, bad and thankfully no ugly times, in spite of everything that has happened over the period I’m eternally grateful,” she said at the launch, recounting a decade of active showbiz life.

The musical concert will be preceded by week-long activities “aimed at empowering women and children which is something I’m very passionate about,” she added.

Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) President, Bice Osei kuffour, who was a guest at the ceremony was full of praise for Mzbel.

“MUSIGA is proud of Mzbel as a member celebrating a decade of her doing music. We will support her to make sure her concert is successful.”

Mzbel has four albums to her credit including Awoso Me, Kiss me and 16 years.
