The miss Malaika Ghana Grand finale finally took place over the weekend on Saturday, November 22.

The event hosted by award winning radio and television personality Berla Mundi saw fans of the ten Malaika Finalists, namely; Yvonne, Edem, Dromeryda, Leah, Boahemaa, Asiedua, Gyeduwaa, Martha, Delsey and Hassana come in to show support for their favorite contestant.

It was a night which saw thrilling performances from BET nominee Mizvee who was explosive on the night, Captain Hook,lil Shaker who took the crowd by surprise when he introduced 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Artist Of the Year, E.L on the Malaika stage. E.L wowed the crowd when he performed “KOKO” as Joey B took the stage next.

LEAH BROWN was eventually crowned the winner on the night as EDEM emerged 1st Runner Up with Delsey occuying the 2nd Runner up Position.

It has been weeks of hardwork from Charterhouse and the contestants and Saturday saw the crowning of a deserved winner in LEAH BROWN, who also took home a brand new Renault Captur.

So its Official, Kuukua Korsah’s reign as miss Malaika Ghana is over.Now we have a new queen.
