Nigerian musician Burna Boy has spoken publicly about a flopped concert he headlined at the Trade Fair Centre over the weekend.

In an interview with YFM’s Joel, he blamed he show’s organizers for what became a poorly attended event. Also interviewed, was South African hip hop act A.K.A.

Excerpts of interview below.

“The least I would expect from the organizers is to at least promote the show, and to do things that they’re supposed to do,” the embittered musician said. “I don’t know if it’s some kind of curse or not, because every time I come to Ghana, things don’t go as planned.”

“This makes me feel disrespected as an artist, it makes me feel my fans are disrespected and violated because at the end of the day, it’s my name on the line and not the organizers name on the show and for the fact that my name is on the show does not mean I’m the one organizing the show.”
